Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak and his former interior minister Habib al-Adly were on 02 June sentenced to life imprisonment theafter a court found him guilty of complicity in the killing of peaceful protesters during the 2011 uprising. The judge however, said that Mubarak, and his two sons, Alaa and Gamal, were found not guilty of corruption and influence peddling.
