Palestinians celebrate after returning to their land for the first time in 35 years, near the village of Burqa, north of Nablus, the West Bank, 03 October 2013. According to Israeli human rights group Yesh Din, the Israeli Attorney General has announced that the settlement of Homesh no longer appears on the list of Israeli settlements. Accordingly, Palestinians are permitted to re-enter the area, whereas Israelis are not. The announcement means Palestinian families are now legally entitled to return to the land from which they were evicted 35 years ago. Photo by Nedal Eshtayah
