Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah takes part in a rally to mark the 69th anniversary of the "Nakba" or "catastrophe" in Arabic in reference to the establishment in 1948 of the state of Israel, in the West Bank city of Ramallah on May 15, 2017. Nakba" means in Arabic "catastrophe" in reference to the birth of the state of Israel 69-years-ago in British-mandate Palestine, which led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who either fled or were driven out of their homes during the 1948 war over Israel's creation. The key symbolises the homes left by Palestinians in 1948. Photo by Prime Minister Office
