Residents reported that a window was broken in the house, raising suspicions that Molotov cocktails were thrown inside -- as occurred in the July firebombing. Israeli authorities were investigating the cause of the fire. This is the second attack to take place in the village, where an 18-month-old Palestinian boy and his two parents from the Dawabsha family were killed in the July 2015 firebombing. Dawabsha and his wife were awakened overnight by thick smoke, residents said.
